I just bought an 89 crx si and i'm debating between an either zc or sohc vtec swap. Can anyone give me an opinion on which one, or no which is better, faster, 1/4 times to expect, or whci is easiest to install. Also can anyone tell me some sites to purchase what i need or give me pointers. Thanks.....

 

i have a bunch of friends with zc's in their crx's, ans my sohc vtec is faster, easier to find parts for, bigger aftermarket inventory...both swaps are really easy, but you'll never regret having vtec, or a newer motor

 

It really depends on what you plan on doing...you plan on going turbo later on? or staying all motor?

but yeah since im in california and smog and all that crap sucks ZC is a bitch if you have to get reff'd or what not so ive heard.... so im planning on dumping my ZC and building a d16a CRX SI motor
