after burning a exhaust valves did idecide to upgrade my OEM valvetrain setup to some omni power valves, springs and retainers with a BC stage III+ cams and cam gear.
i would assume that someone in here have tried it before so i would be intresting to hear about you camgear setup?

 

you burned your exhaust valves with the bc3+ cams? what engine do you have? were you using stock itr valvetrain?

 

Adjusting the camgears is a normal part of the tuning process. Normally, you'd wanna go with a +/- 0 degree starting point - and let the dyno guide your way.

 

i have a B18c6 with I/H/E and burned the exhaust valve on my stock valvetrain

 

hm? but i read and was told by everybody if you stay within stock redline it should be fine even with a gsr valvetrain?

 

the honda workshop told me it could be wrong valve clerance ond bad maintenance form the last owner
