Well I have a 97 Accord right now and will be passing it on to my little brother here soon. I have been looking at new cars for some time now and I love the EVO and STi but don't want the gas bill that comes with them.

What I am looking for is something I can drive everyday and take to the track (roadcorse and scca) on the weekends and have fun in. Since it will be my daily driver I do not want a loud exhaust or a ride that beats the crap out of you either. I know with the STi mainly that I wouldn't have to do much of anything to achieve this but the RSX seems to need some mods to enjoy the full potential of the car.

I am just curious what you guys with them think about them, what mods have you done or plan to do and what is the gas mileage like in them. Do you have to run premium gas or regular in them?

What I would most likely do to one if I bought it is put a Mugen twin loop exhaust a Mugen Intake and Header and a mild drop (springs, struts) and all the sway bars and stuff too.

I would appreciate it very much if everyone could throw out their opinions on there RSX's that would be great....Thanks.

 

Try to secure an integra type R, but if you can't then go ahead with the rsx. I have an 05 type S and its awsome. Kinda slow stock but has much potential. Good luck with your decision!!

I would go with the Type R but I really want a new car and all the good stuff that goes with it. New car smell, warranty, ect....

 

Type S or nothing, if you are going to race it. Although I would grab a car and driver magazine where they did the comparo of the cheap speed. The rsx type s was the slowest and most expensive and still won The Best Cheap Speed. lol

 

Yea I saw that on the tv the other day. They were ******* bad on the Saturn and Chevy. I thought it was pretty funny.

That is what made me start considering getting the RSX. and yes type s would be the only way to go...agreed
