Whats different about the 88 crx si compared to the 89-91 crx si?
Basicly what is different about the 2? I have a 89 crx si with a lot of mods, I totaled the car about 2 weeks ago and a lot of stuff is salvagable, my friend has an 88 shell. It has interior and everything but is missing some suspension parts, would i be able to use my suspension from the 89?
basicly i want to no what is not compatable and what is.
Thanks a lot
chris

If you search this out there is a ton of GREAT info out there
88 Belts in B-pillar
88 ITR Type rear LCA
88-89 Cluster cover and gauges are more square
Just to name a few...but if you search it out you will get your answer quicker.

everything is pretty much swappable. you might want to look into the rear disc conversion though. if your messing with suspension already, take the time to do it now and it will make it all worth it in the long run.. while you have it up change out the brake lines for some braided ones. it makes all the difference
everything is compatible with the 88 and 89 except the seat, seat belts and doors, and related interior pieces.
(i will smack the first person who mentions "passive steering")
