88-91 crx fog lights
can anyone here tell me what the exact dimensions of the yellow factory crx fogs are?
I purchased a yellow pair of stanley fogs that were meant for a crx but they are a bit wider than what I see in photos.
Even the switch I received with the fogs doesn't even light up leading me to suspect that the fogs are for the 1st gen crx's.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks

the fogs are in the front bumper but they're not the blinky ones when you're turning. The ones I am actually referring to are the yellow stanley glass fogs that go into the lower bumper.

from what I know...the 88 fogs were made by bosch...well mine were and they were factory installed...I can take some measurments for you if you'd like...those are the only ones I can vouch for...I honestly have never seen USDM factory fog lights on the 90-91s...not to say that they dont exist. Also I have never seen yellow USDM factory fog lights period...but once again not saying they dont exist...
maybe you could post some pics of the ones you have?

well I won the fogs off ebay from a seller in new zealand.
The fogs do NOT have the curved yellow lens like the real JDM ones do even though the auction stated that they were JDM.
The factory fog light switch doesn't even light up and when installed into the vertical slot in my 1991 crx the fog light symbol is sitting in the wrong direction. Even the style of the switch appears to be from an 84-87 crx/civic.
The front glass of the fog is flat but is made by stanley and they seem a little wider than other jdm fog pics that I've seen.
The measurements of the front yellow glass are as follows:
7 inches wide
2 1/4 inches high
total depth of fog and fog housing: 2 3/4 inches deep
I'm am not sure if I should go after the seller for a refund/discount on these fogs.
Thanks

I dont know that he does...Id really like to see pics...I have verified now that two sets of OEM 88-89 CRX fogs do not say Stanley they say bocsh... My oem switch also does not light up and does not provide the wring to light up... I wouldnt really say it matches the wrest of the car...but I do know that they were factory installed in an 88 Si AND NOT YELLOW!

I went and bought some close to the size of the 90-91 fogs for my 88 HB but i never liked the stock mounting location so i mounted them in the top outsides of the grill.
