Sanity check needed
Doing the mini-me this weekend. Y8 head on a d15b2. My order for an adjustable cam gear got messed up so its not arriving now :-(
So to make this work on the stock Y8 cam gear, do I retard the cam timing to the next closest tooth, then advance the ingition timing till it lines up on the crank marker? Or do I have it backwards?

If I remember correctly all you have to do is advance the timing 1 tooth. It's been a while since we did our last mini-me swap, but I believe that's all we had to do.
Thanks guys
I've read on here to advance the cam tuning, but honda tuning mag retarded the cam timing on the one they did. I'll figure it out, I have plenty of beer/time
