Default Im trapping 119 with no traction...

What you guys think, ball park I should run on slicks? Im trying to run DR's and ran a 12.496 @119 (not traction and 2.1 60 foot). I'm really trying to break a 11 sec run on the BFG's before I go to full slicks. Possiable? Im making about 400whp at 17-19psi and that's what I ran the 12.4 on. Car was tuned to 21.5 psi on c16 so thats what I'll turn it up to when I start running slicks.

he has an ITR.
Wont work.

Get a little more time under your belt. You should have no probs breaking 11's at all on that set up.
I was trapping 124-125 on a little less HP then you on BFG's

With that MPH I dont think you'll be able to break 11's on radials. Thats around the mph you would have on a high 11 sec. pass on slicks, but good job the car is moving and with more seat time who knows.

Work on your driving a bit. 12.4 @ 119 on a radial isn't a bad time, but theres alot left in it. Play with tire pressure, boost level, launch rpm, throttle, how u work the clutch. Do a big burnout on those bfg's. If you could get your 60' down to the 1.9 range then you'd be in pretty good shape.

i really can't seem to get the BFG spinning in the burnout box. It pulls the car hald way down the 60 foot in 2 gears.

2nd gear burnout will get some extra heat in the tires. since I started doin them I have been way more consistant with my 60ft times

you should be able to get an 11 out of that mph if you get a dead on launch. i know guys pulling consistant 1.9's on DR's at about the same mph as you, and they are managing to break into the high 11's. but like everything else, its going to take practice/patience (which is sometimes hard to come by ) heat may also be a factor holding you back, good luck though
