Hey guys we all feel the same way, but there is nothing we change about the TV show. The show is currently owned by Speed, and so is all of the footage.
We feel that there needs to be more racing shown, and the show needs to be at least an hour, but Speed is only hearing this from us, since no one contacts them and tells them how they feel.

Does this tell everyone how they need to approach the situation?

Let Speed know what you feel needs to be changed, not us. Trust me, we feel the same way.

Sorry, I forgot to add that to the original post.

 

I went ahead and gave my comments of what i would like to see more of on the nopi tunervision show. They really dont show enough racing and far too much car show coverage. Also some interviews with the drivers would be nice and maybe a feature on a one particular race car per show.
Hopefully someone at Speed is listening.

I just hope they listen to all of you guys.

 

The event that was on two weeks ago I think it was seemed better then most. They were giving more info on the cars and also talking to a few racers. Would rather see more racing and I guess some more of the car shows. Leave out the burn out contest whiplash always wins so no real reason to keep showing it over and over.

i agree. also i think they should have the racers verbally challenge each other and kind of call each other out. the rivalry is good for business.

i definately want to see the sportman class racing, they basically only show the finals of the pro class cars.. i still like watching it!

Same here, I went to the site and filled out a comment. Ive been saying for the last two years how much I'd like to see the turbo 4 /comp 4/ power street classes in the mix. Hopefully they will get enough comments to consider...

 

also they should cover tech features on the cars.

lets say for example they are showing papadakis car, they can show us the goods and have him tell us himself about some of the features.

stephs car is a bad example because it gets plenty of press but there are other cars that dont.

kind of like a video magazine article.

and some good footage for christ sake. they always show these obscure close ups that dont really reveal any thing worthwhile.

also they should do a special on aerodynamics and drag racing. there seem to be many schools of thought with this

bikini contest do they spend 10's of thousands on there bikini's or traveling? hell no they already spend enough time on these broads! dont mean to sound like a dick but you can see chicks in bikini's a the beach all you want! racing is what its about and we should be promoting racing not using women to bring in a crowd! unless its women drivers!

but anyways...yeah i would like to see more coverage on the racing...

 

please for the love of god get rid of the burn out contest....hell not just on TV...all together. i actually had a kid build him a turbo ls vtec car specifically for the burn out contest. biggest peice of crap car EVER. and ironically.....it ended up on Nopi TV for longer than any of the race cars. hmmm 40k dollar T4 car....or junk yard car doing a burn out? i dont know about you guys....but i know which car(s) i'd rather see.

i still watch nopi tv every time i get a chance just to check it out anyways....it has so much more potential though

I sent in my .02 cents.........

 

My .02 went in as well, and I'm not sure if any of you guys view it this way or not, but when you turn on Spike TV on Sundays, they have their Power Hour programs with Horsepower TV, Trucks, etc showing what they can do with these American cars. Then you turn on NOPI and Speed is doing nothing, but showing riced out cars in the car show and things like the burnout contest. It really doesn't help the sport at all, and while you have people like Chuck S. who went 8.31 on a stock Honda tranny, you're getting coverage of the Civic with IS300 taillights and Lambo doors on it instead.

 

I just left them some feedback..it whould be wise to post this thread in as many categories on this site as possible
