Default outrev stock tach

b16a1 in a 88crx si with itr/ctr cams and itr valvetrain... The stock tack ends at 8k. But with this setup it is possible to go past 8k.. I want to retain a stock look without any aftermarket tach's cluttering up the interior. So therefore the question is..
How can I maintain a stock tach look that reads more than 8k accurately? Are there swaps to be done or after market modifications??

just get a small tach like a pivot but if you ask me I would get the apex tach those things are pretty slick looking I have to autometer monster tach kind of bulky but gets the job done.

I've got a 3.75" tach from autometer.... revs to 10k... i've seen 9k a few times. Yes, they have them in black too, so it won't be so obtrusive.

I have a vafc, and use the RPM readout on that. The needle on mine goes past 8k and almost straight down when i'm beating on it. I would just get a small tach, like was sugested above.
