Default what does a hydrolic clutch offer that a cable doesn't?

couldn't find any clear info...what about them makes them better?

All cables stretch and eventually break.Hydraulics never need adjustment.

hydro slave cylinders and master cylinders leak, same as where cable stretch

hydraulic is self adjusting. with cable u have to adjust periodically........i have seen cable seize up internally thus making pedal really stiff ,

I don't know about Honda but some cables (VW) are self-adjusting. It's a little ratchet mechanism where the adjusting barrel would have been. Even so, the auto-adjuster can get dirty & screw up.

Smoother operation compared to cable friction in it's housing.

Maybe more design-flexibility for where the cable has to lead thru the engine bay. You can make sharp bends with a hydraulic tube but not with a cable.
