gotta F22A...wanna build it...where's the power going to come from exactly?...
I want to build this F22A NA and was wondering...
So by building the motor up, I understand that I need to upgrade internal parts, but what I'm asking is which of those parts add HP and which just allow the engine to rev higher safely? Also, for starters, am I missing any obvious upgrades or listing any useless ones...
CAI
Cat-back exhaust
Headers
Programmed ECU
Plugs/wires/distributor/alternator
Valves/springs/retainers
Pistons
Camshaft
Flywheel
Clutch
What sort of gains would this setup yield? Would it add more power to the low-end or high or throughout?

How high do you want to rev? Assuming you want to build more power up top I would look at a new set of rods and have the crank micro polished and balanced. Maybe get some new bearings. I assume this is going into your '93 accord right? Have you check into just purchasing an H22 swap, by the time you start to factor in the cost of making an F22 a fast NA motor you're almost better off with an H series. Just my 2c though, good luck.
One last thing, I would also check into getting a different intake manifold or have your existing IM and TB bored out a little bit.

I've actually changed my mind and going with the H22A swap...I've been hearing my old B18C sreaming at 7.5K in the middle of the night and wake up in a cold sweat. Oh VTEC, how could I have forgotten you? Starting to sock away $400/month until I get my hands on an SiR or something.
