i swear to god i see posts with this exact same question every day
....
if boosting, rule out the b20, so its just ls or b16. the ls has lower compression and therefore provides more room for tuning error and stuff like that.

I have a "VTEC" in my 92 DX
Anyhow if you wanna eat LS civics all day long,Get a B16 over the ls,I've driven both and i'll never look at an LS swap again.
Btw same car aswell B18vx B16 dx"current car"

I have had both a B16 and an LS in my Si Hatch, and the LS pulled way harder than the B16 but I also had a B16 tranny.
But to each is their own.

I would say LS all the way. My last hatch had an LS that was all motor and now the current owner put a turbo on it. Its a great engine for either all-motor or FI, the torque really helps. Its also alot cheaper then the b16
I look at a b18 as the best bet. B20 power, but weak sleeves, shitty PCV system, shitty cams. B16 good topend but no torque. B18 is really nice to drive daily, no vtec but still beats up on b16s, with proper mods. Make sure you get a short enough tranny if you are not going to run boost on the LS. SI or GSR is perfect.

I agree with you all the way... For ALL MOTOR.
BOOST, I would go LS, Eliminate all the Vtec tunning<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by xtremeazian »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I say that you will be happy either way b16 b18 </TD></TR></TABLE>

if you swap a vtec into a 95 dx, what wiring harness will you need? Is that the only thing you need to change? What about transmission mounts? What type of tranny is in a d15?

95 DC coupe..... Do you mean an Integra????

If you are talking about an integra you can use the same LS wiring harness and just add the Knock Sensor, Vtec oil pressure,Vtec Solenoid, And an OBD 1 Vtec Ecu. I think a couple more for the Evap System..
