You can't post pics from your A:/ drive unless you are running an FTP and have your comp configured correctly. Try posting pics at clubphoto.com ...it is free and you will be able to post the pics in this forum.

 

if its a c5 its gonna have more power than 190. and good luck getting it running with obd2. have fun

 

I thought there were fit issues w/putting a Type R tranny into a 4th gen Civic/2nd gen CRX?(besides the mounts).

I am using hasport mounts and am modifying the tranny mount and the rear bracket on the b16 uses 17 mm bolts so I drilled the for the type r tranny because it uses 19 mm broke a bit hard like **** but its sweet pics comming soon later

WTF? That is impossible.......have you already tried fitting the tranny? Look at these pictures and you'll notice the S80 tranny hits the firewall (a piece of wood is used to clear)

BTW this is a EDM spec EE8 with a B18c6 swap

tomorow new pics with cutting the hasport mount and mesuring the hight

Just look at the damn pictures and read the swap story and save yourself from a shitload of frustration and work..

it moves the engine forward
HCP AND place racing moves the engine back
I have done a couple of swaps with hcp ...they suck because its moves the engine allthe way back

No, because:

1. Hasport makes GSR conversion for ED9 = Si only
2. Moving it to the front doesn't help, reason is the wheel panel is not
wider at the front.
3. Even if you move the mothefucker to the front you still lack
4th, front engine mount which is on LB in CRX but on wheelpanel in
ITR.

Anyways make some pictures of the S80 tranny in place...I'm very curious

 

hcp moves the engine just a tad bit further than the hasport.. don't know whatcha talking bout.. and i go with those nice purdy pics of that s80 in there.. looks like there is no way its going to fit..

hcp sucks? i am using hcp mounts right now on my hatch. other than my motor being pushed back, what else is bad with them. just curious. thanks!
