As you can see in this pic, there are some nasty gold pinstripes on my car that need to be removed.

well, it depends on if theyre painted on, or just vinyl...if theyre stickers, just apply some light heat from lets say a hairdryer, and peel them off...if theyre painted, a buffing wheel and some light compound will remove them as well...
at my shop to remove tape stripes we use a rubber wheel on a drill. its like a big pencil eraser that spins and the residue can be wiped off with some light solvent.

thats the way it looked the day I bought it... it'll be getting a facelift soon.
Possibly the previous owner wanted the side moldings on the car so the car doors don't get dinged up and the moldings take the beating. You'll probably have to get those shaved off, unless they're adhestive, then you can just remove it with a heat gun or something.

i really dont think they look that bad... they're definately not my #1 priority.
1 - remove pin stripes
2 - put on my oem body kit, if the replacement pieces EVER get here (been waiting like 12 days for the replacements so far, its not really a big deal though as its like 15 degrees outside
)3 - tint the windows
