92 Accord need help! ! ! ! !
Ok my boy has a 2 door 92 accord. He got a new intake dont kno what type. but when it hits 3 grand it sticks and reva up and back down so help please. thanks
Should have nothing to do with the intake if he installed it correctly. Check to make sure all vacuum lines are still hooked up
Ok yea like when he pressing on the gas sounds like a turbo spooling then goes up and back down tanks any ways and srry for the oldskool acorrord thing just wanted to see what people was working wit.
When the intake was installed did you cap off the no longer used vacuum port on the intake manifold (next to the PGM-FI sticker)? It normally supplies vacuum to the intake control solenoid valve (at the very front of the stock airbox inlet tubing, next to the battery) at a certain RPM to quiet intake noise but is eliminated when intake is installed on CB's.
If your talking bout the one thats connect from the intake to the valve cover yea it blocked it off and got one of tem little air filter on the valve cover.

No, your talking about the the PCV hose. Read thru this thread, near the end it talks about what I'm trying to explain:

Scroll down and you will see a pic of dude holding the a piece of stock intake piping in his hand with 3 red arrows in the pic. the farthest right arrow is the intake air control solenoid valve and its vacuum tank, the far left arrow is the plug that connects to that valve, and the middle arrow is the vacuum line that connects to the intake air control solenoid valve vacuum tank. Follow that vacuum line all the way back to the intake manifold (#10 in the pic below).

You will see where all the black vacuum lines come together in a row and plug into the manifold (next to the PGM-FI sticker), it should be the one closest to the firewall that you need to plug.
