Im not sure, but im pretty ****** sure i saw 1 or 2 auto b16's, but i thought there were no auto b series vtec

 

there are a few auto B16's. i think they were the 1st gen B16's.

 

Think an auto b16 came in DA8's and 1st gen Del Sols.

 

yes, i was thinking the Integra XSi's. 1st gen Del Sol? do you mean the 1st gen CRX?

 

sorry don't know *too* much about del sols but isn't there two gens? i thought the 92-95 and 96-97 were different.

 

93-95 front has auxiliary lights. 96-97 doesn't. nothing really different body wise.

oh yeah, and no Del Sol came equipped with an auto B16. not in the U.S. anyway.

 

ok well i don't know specifically then waht del sols had the auto b16, but some of them did lol.

 

you must be getting people's words mixed up. D16 and B16.

don't get the Si model mixed up with the VTEC model.

Si being the D16Z6/D16Y8. coming equipped with an automatic or manual transmission.

VTEC being the B16A3/2. coming equipped in manual transmission only.

 

Im not getting them mixed up, i coulda swore i saw a 93-97 del sol, DOHC vtec B16. but your positive that there is no auto b series usdm?

I'm 100% there isn't a auto usdm b16

 

Yeah im pretty sure the only auto b16's are Jdm.

I had an auto b16 in my hatch. HoLLA

couldnt someone swap an auto ls tranny to a b series motor?

 

Yeah, you could bolt the auto tranny up, but wiring maybe kinda shitty and it wouldn't perform all too well. There were no USDM auto b16's, but there are some JDM ones
