USDM Integra Type-R Cat. Converter
I have just bought a used Cat. Converter from USDM Integra Type-R located in VA. But I'm in CA. and I have to smog my car soon.
My question is there any differences between a CA. Cat. Converter and a VA. Cat. Converter ?

Thanks for the quick response.
I have looked online and found the same part # for all Type-R's.
I was just curious that there just might be some diff. internally.

my 1984 242TI Volvo was made differently for California...
when you purchase a replacement 'fuel enrichment device' (don't know the correct verbage) they ask you if it is a Cali. car... or all else.

He's talking about an original cat. I understand that different states have different emissions, but Honda did not equip the ITR with different cats for different states.

His question was whether Honda did equip the cars differently, to which the answer is no. As Willard stated, manufacturers have done so in the past (not necessarily specifically catalytic converters, but a "CA emissions package"), which I assume is what prompted the original poster's question.
