Default LAST MINUTE DECISION: CRX stock bumper or Wingswest?!

I can't decide which bumper to use. A wings west CRX bumper or a stock CRX bumper. Both should fit my 8" JRC intercooler fine.

This is going on a 91 tahiti green hatch.

body is stock besides the modded CRX fenders.

I need to decide by 7pm tonight!!!!

OEM or at least get the whole kit not just the front bumper.

Go OEM, do not ruin your ride with any kit from any source unless you can get a REAL Mugen full body kit... good luck with that one!

I hate you. LOL.

I've been thinking about the JDM route. VERY PRICY.

I'm going to order a 90-91 crx bumper skin from one of these "crash parts" sites. They are only like $125. That I can afford

Did you just call me a ricer?! Come over here so I can smack you! LOL.

How big of an intercooler can you fit on YOUR stock bumper? And you think it's easy to fit 2.5" charge pipes with the 90-91 bumper's fog light holes? Now fit an oil cooler in their and still have room for air flow to get to the radiator. I still have to figure out how I'm going to route (fit) the BOV to recirculate from the intercooler to the turbo inlet.

Geez. The wings west bumper was more of a cop-out to make installation easier.

As a final note: The stock bumper is a hatch back bumper (the car is a HB). Am I a ricer for putting a CRX bumper on a hatch?

/end rant

Rice is a state of mind (and sometimes self denial), and personally I like a little asian flavor with my ride (DUH, we all drive HONDAs, how much more Asian can you get without driving a Chinese copy of the Zastava produced Yugo). I wouldn't worry too much about the different model type body parts, the CRX front end looks sleeker IMO. Make sure you get the rear to match though, or you will just have a stupid looking car.

Yeah, I'm going with the stock 91 CRX bumper. What option do I have for the rear bumper?

P.S. I'm not really offended by the ricer comment. I know I'm not a ricer, my car is actually quick and I take it to the track

I just hate the stock bumper look:

YUCK

If you can... try to go EF9 SiR, that is the closest thing I have seen to the CRX stocker, and it will bolt right up. I know it will be a real PITA to find it, but it will match the front much better and nobody would be the wiser.

Either way I ordered a 91 bumper cover. Thank you every one for your input!

End of discussion (it seems this thread is going in the wrong direction)

i like the stock bumper.. my main plan is i want to get the jdm front.. i like the headlights a little more on that look and i also like the bumperlenses that wrap around the bumper.
