rear bumper on JDM crx??

rear bumper on JDM crx??
hey folks... I've heard someone say that the JDM CRX's have a rear lip on the bumper and are different from USDM. Is that true?? Anyone got a pic?? I've heard the front ends are different.. but didnt know about the rear. Show pics if ya got emmm...

your going to argue this over a real JDM crx IN japan over a crx pic you found on the net. trust me JDM_DOHC_SiR is ALL knowing. I have turned to his help several times in the past and has always provided me with legit and detailed info. so to put it short.
only the civics had em.

what year is that rear lip from? let's ask some question is it a sir rear lip? is it a zc rear lip? those kind of questions help actually the answers do.

ask brad. ( EF9 ) its suppost to come only on the SiR's but limited ed's might have had them too. im not sure on the whole limited ed thing. hell im not sure what motor came in it. but there are several comps that with sell you one.

Dave: just noticed you had the 3rd brakelight.. i remember seeing on Kats site that Eriks CRX didnt have it?
was it an option ? or did only the SiR's come with the 3rd brake light?

SiR's came with a rear bumper that had a lip that acted as a diffuser while the EF7 came with an actual detachable rear lip. You know.. JDM CRX Si EF7 DOHC ZC. The CRX pic that CR-X posted up.

I have a JDM hatch on my 90 rex but the third brake light is in the wing. The wing is the same as the SI that CR-X posted... what gives...what the hell is my hatch off of anyway?

hey cr-x what year is that exclusive the sir's didnt come stock withem but i have seen them optional. but my question is that is the rear bumper for the 89 sir different from the 90-91...

The JDM EF-7/8 Never came with a lower Lip spoiler..I reapeat NEVER not even the base model over here came a lip or tail spoiler..
Now on the other hand.. there is the EF-9 and the Special Ed. version that came with the EF-9's fron and rear spoiler ..but thats it..SO if you would please Read the Question before some of you Jump to Blast people...maybe you could come over here to Japan and Prove me wrong ...??
Now for as far as the Wing and 3rd brake light issue...
The low rise wing came off a SiR...and the high rise one with the 3rd brake light came off of the EF-7 Only ..
Anyone else beg to differ..??

i live 3 stops away from shinjyuku, and damn, i cant find anywhere i can race my cars. the only place i go iz up straight on the 20, in okutama. and i heard there are couple of spots down in your place. any advices? thanx
planning on going back to japan this summer. (prob be riding a starlet gt turbo)

How much do these rear lips go for? Any other pics of them? I kinda want to get something for the rear. I might do a J's racing front lip which doesnt look very agressive. So I need something subtle to match the rear. Thanks guys

*ahem* i owned an 88-89 EF7 rear bumper and it had a lip. I hand picked it in japan myself. UNLESS by what your saying some JDM guy wanted to go EDM and it ended up in the junkard

Here is the site if you want to check out the rest of the cr-x. I have never seen it, been to japan, or even europe for that matter. But the cr-x is from europe.

The cr-x that was posted was not a 90-91. look at the tales. They dont have that extra border around them, the front corner lights have the screw holes on the outside and the front bumper does not have little indentions for fog lights like the 90-91. As for what year it is im going to have to guess and say, 88-89. Hope this helps.

As long as we're all wondering about what came stock in JDM land, was this spoiler available in Japan? If so, what trim level? I got this one from an EDM (UK specifically) model 16v1.6i CRX.

This is just me, but isn't it a bit, uh, excessive to be debating whether or not a particular version of a car sold more than 10 years ago in another country came with a little piece of plastic stuck under its rear bumper?
