Default My first run of the season, tell me what you think.

Well, after doing some work to my car since last season, I was hoping for better times. My set-up is 95 CX hatch w/ JDM B16a w/factory LSD, i/h/e, KYB non-adjustables w/pro-kit, motor mount inserts, and 15" Rotas w/ ES100's.

60'....2.318
330....6.494
1/8....9.891
MPH....72.27
1000....12.748
1/4....15.188
MPH....93.90

I was really disappointed. I went 15.2 last year, and that was on blown shocks, no motor mount inserts, and no header. I realize I need to work in my launch/60' times, but i'm already having trouble getting traction. I run the tires at about 17-20psi, but I'm still spinning in first gear.

My only idea is drag radials. Besides that, i still think my times should be better. What do you think? Any suggestions on how to launch it better?

Hmmm, i would say to try and work on your 60' time. Try different launching techniques. Try launching right below VTEC and kinda feathering it into VTEC. Make sure you are still getting wide open throttle, and that your throttle cable isn't loose. If you don't have one, get a VTEC controller and play around with different settings on fuel and VTEC crossover. Other than that, just practice! Good luck man

i own a crx with the same setup pretty much... and ran 14.6 at 93mph or somthing like that.

i was at 15.0 for awhile and finally learned how to drive... i have a lil more done to my crx then you do but not much more that should make that much of a difference... all practice.

ever consider a vafc and some dyno time? that's the only major difference i see in my setup compaired to yours.
