Default Header Exhaust setup

Hi, WIth a JDM 4-1 header with 2.5" collector and a magnaflow cat, how much hp would you loose if you go from all this to a 60mm catback exhaust(with no resonators or bottlenecks). i have the 60mm cat back exhaust and i dont know if the extra 3mm's are worth the hp gain to go buy a 2.5" exhaust. Can someone please help out, i appreciate it. thanks

Just depends on the rest of your setup.

So far there is only a 3" cold air intake and the header, cat and catback exhaust. So would this affect the Hp gains alot?

If you have a extra money, dyno the same day with different exhaust setups... Some motors will respond differently.

You'll lose 5 hp.

Impossible to answer. Every engine breathes differently. I can say that you are choking your engine down with that smaller catback. Why not go 2.5"???

Keep it 2.5" all the way through, then take it to a dyno and get it properly tuned.
