Default Motorcycle exhaust on a civic???

I have seen this new trend in Europe where people are putting after market motorcycle mufflers on the VW, Hondas, and other sport compacts. I was wondering if there is a performance gain and how this would probably sound. Does anyone seen or tried this? And if so what are you thoughts on this.

is my thoughts, lol

A pipe is a pipe, the only differences would be (1) if the diameter is different or (2) the baffles would alter the sound.

--> most likely make it sound worse than the Folgers Type ARRR coffee cans on the the hatches I see

i run a motorcycle like exhaust, but with 2 resonators; no muffler.
Its loud, but not all that bad.
I do have to put the stock ex. on when going on dates..i would never get layd if not.

i see one problem besides noise, wich is size.
