AFTERMARKET STEERING WHEEL ON EK?
Removing a SRS steering wheel and replacing it with a non SRS steering wheel is illegal. If you get in a crash, the insurance rep is gonna come out to estimate the value and savability of your car and say "you took out your airbag so you could look cool? Nice, but DENIED" You wont get **** if you make a claim. And God konws what will happen if you crash into another tuner that knows youre supposed to have an airbag. Its not worth it.

I have a MOMO detachable steering wheel in my EK and I've been pulled over a couple of times, nothing about it. I like the way it looks and if you're careful you can avoid accidents. Accident free since the day I got my car 2 years ago, knock on wood.

It should be legal because the S2000 wheel is plug and play including the airbag

No he forgot comma... its illegal (insurance company) to switch w/out them knowing..not illegal...but you have to tell them and then you insurance goes up. But its leagal to rock a s2000.. so he was implying to us that. I would go with the other choice of aftermarket one... If you in an accident unless its totaled the other person rarely ever looks inside of the car.. Then when you claim it the insurance people only ask "did airbags deploy..(not which or why not)" just tell them no..and they move on to other questions...NOw when they ask to for a time to stop by to take pics.. you tell them either no..im busy and i can take it to a shop and tell them not to worry about inside cause airbags didnt deploy..Or you take pics not showing sterring wheel (crop)..I know all about this.. People always seem to hit tuner cars..i dont know why..
