should i try getting a low milage 95 teg LS or GSR or get a 98-99 teg LS or GS instead???
just like the question states my lease is up at the end of this year, and i am contemplating on whether or not to get a older model 95 teg GSR or LS OBD1 with low mileage and do the 98 and up teg conversion on it, or just get a 98 or 99 teg obd 2 what do you guys think i should do and what have you guys done?!??!
Get the higher mileage, but well cared for GSR. Those motors dont just **** out for no reason, find one that was owned by an adult, and even if you have to rebuild in 30k its still going to be nicer then the LS and rebuilds arent that expensive anyways. Trust me I have an LS, its a bitch to modify to my standards, get the GSR.
GS-R all the way! It's way to hard to modify an LS to obtain the power of a GS-R. Don't bother with the 98+ conversion. It doesn't look that different anyways.
well for me my preference would bea 98 conversion, but ya i will try to maybe shoot for a 95 gsr but!!!! if i cant find it i have no problem opting for a 98 and up teg and so be it if its an LS what else are yous guys thinking?? why the hell is the LS so damn underrated!??
get an older gsr and rebuild the motor for all N/A the newer front end can be had for about 800 painted
hear it from me, I used to drive a 96 LS, now i drive a 95 GSR, go GSR, you wont regret it, nothing beats redlining at 8000.

gs-r. even if its high mileage. then when the engine blows, go and build it stronger.
dont get me wrong the ls isnt tas slowas people make it ou to be nor is it that muchslower than the gsr but if you are planning an all motor setup or even smple mods go gsr
what would be the point of having a modded ls that can hang with an average gsr

thanks for the advice guys, i am always looking around town for a good dael ill have the cash by the time the lease is up in nov-dec, so maybe even by then i can get an even better deal
Do what I did, I too decided between the 98+gsr and 94+gsr and decided on a 94gsr. It was a gsr sedan with 108k for $7500. I could of got it for less, but the owner just put in $500+ in maintenance work last month and wasn't going to budge. I also bought my car from the mature, adult driver. Had all maintenance record, I was suprise. Not some dam 18 year old reving the day lights out of his car. Engine runs strong and clean inside and out. Only problem was that it had the famous "3k rpm rattling" and the timing belt and water pump hasn't been replace yet. Found the problem, bought a used gsr header for $40, waiting to put in. And in the shop currently getting the timing belt, water pump, engine seals and the other 3 belts replace for $500 flat with all geniune acura parts. My total $8100. Not bad at all.
go with the GSR, just personal preferance, or go with the LS, and have SGT build you a motor
depends on what you want, i went for the gsr and got a pretty good deal on the conversion (front and back bumpers front and back lights) all for 450 painted. you dont come accross that very often though. drive them both and see if you like the gsr much more, if not then just go with the ls. or just save yourself the time and get the gsr cause thats what you'll like anyway
Go for the GSR. Thats what I'm trying to do
I'm wondering if anyone is willing to trade me my 96 DC4 RS for a 94-95 GSR?
