With $800 to spend I would say go find yourself some Koni yellows and GC's w/custom spring rates. But, since you limited the options, im going to assume you didnt want to go that route.

I have not heard much about the first, so I cant really speak for those. I would say go with the teins over the omni's, solely because of the adjustability, dampr-wise. Ive ridden in both, and I didnt notice to much of a difference performance wise, but its nice to have that added feature of being able to adjust ride stiffness. Again, have not heard much about the skunk 2's. Sorry I couldnt be of more help. GL

Edit: Check out the sponsors forum also. You can find better deals on some of those items in there (E.G. I remember a omni LCA/full coilover deal that was pretty good)

You can get an off-the-shelf Koni/GC setup for $750, or $790 with custom rate springs, and free shipping. I'd pick this over all the choices you listed. Its a proven combo, very flexible customization options, and easily rebuildable.

Only the D2 and Tein SS you listed have rebound adjustments. The Skunk2 and Omni are height adjust only from what I gather.
