Default Stock B16 Dyno

Nothing too exciting but I put my new swap on the dyno this evening to get a baseline on it.

Bone stock B16 from HMO
Stock header
Stock DX cat
Stock DX Exhaust (with rear muffler removed)
Stock Airbox
Chipped P28

145.16 whp
100.96 tq

I don't have a tach so you see I didn't take it to redline so it may have more in it. We may go back and tune it so it's not pig rich and dipping so bad at vtec but for now it's alright and at least a strong motor

Good numbers for that setup & air/fuel ratio.

Who's/What chip do you have in your ecu ?
Just curious

u need to get that car tuned. that a/f is way too rich. start adding some parts to make that car breathe and get uberdata to tune the car. with a clean 13:1 a/f throughout the WOT rpm range and VTEC set at 5600 rpms, that motor will make good HP.
but thats pretty good HP for a stock motor with that shitty a/f

Matt,

Are you running a aftermarket fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator ?

Matt,

By the looks of the plot, you have a more agressive all motor program with a vtec engagement of 5300 rpms.

If you plan on keeping the setup the way it is, I would recommend a simular program but with less fuel modifications & vtec at 5600 instead of 5300 rpms.

I will be more then happy to mail you out another eprom free of charge so you could make some more power w/ the stock setup

Thanks,
John Vega - Phearable.net

I appreciate the offer John! I know it's hard to get a dead on tune without tuning the car and I was happy with the tune the way it was anyway I'll send you a pm!

Matt,

Your new basemap for your "stock" b16 will go out tomorrow.
Vtec will be set at 5600 rpms instead of 5300 & your a/f should look better.

Thanks,

I was impressed with the motor, another stout b16 for Matt. Let me know when you get the new chip bro, and I'll see about another dyno night.

Clean car and swap!

What kind of dyno did you baseline on? That is one powerful B16 if dynoed on a dynojet.
