do any of my fellow itr owners kno y there is a bigger gap on the drives side of the armrest then the passenger side?

There is actually a scientific reason behind this.

Its located like that to accomodate for the flux capacitor which sits right below the armrest.

You seem to have plenty of time on your hands so try to find the flux capacitor. But be warned the flux capacitor is very expensive so dont break it.

good guesses on the flux capacitor but on GSR's its actually wired through the ecu so it only kicks in during MaD 3Rd GeAr VTAACCCKK y0!

it DOES line up with the center console very well so im going with the lumbar lever access

I noticed that in mine and wrote it off as they finally did something to accomodate fat people.

 

It's there to accomodate the driver's growing love handles.
