Dyno results from yesterday
Got some dyno tuning done yesterday, after installing Kenji chipped P28 ecu and V-AFC2. Not sure how the numbers compare to other makes of dynos, but got some pretty good gains anyway! Mods are JDM ITR header, J's Racing intake, high flow cat and Spoon axleback with stock b-pipe.

Cannot compare numbers. He did make a gain and thats all that matters. Everybody should realize EACH dyno reads differently. Hate to say it but the guy operating the dyno can make your car read high. Its not hard.

Exactly. My B18C5 with stock itr cams (and a B16A intake manifold) hit 217hp one time on a Dyno Dynamics dyno - the operator accidentally had the correction factor at 1.40
As a rule, the DD dynos read lower than Dynojets anyhow, probably close to 10% lower.
Nice gains with the Kenji ECU

ya but a stock type r is making 158hp on average to the wheels on a mustang dyno. i woudl recomend playing with your ignition timing. almost all type r motors can gain as much as 5hp from changing the stock timing of 14degrees

I didn't post my dyno results to say, "I'm better than you". I just noticed that my #'s and those of the original poster were a LOT different with similar mods and on the same model of dyno. I was hoping that someone could shed some light on why that might be.
Someone has already answered the question, so thank you

Again, that'll depend on conditions and the operator.
I mean, my car was "only" rated at 170ish at a certain Mustang dyno after tuning (many, many runs done). Didn't care about peak since the midrange was improved drastically. Was it a "slow" Type R? Ask the few people who got to drive my old shitbox when it was tuned.
