today I brough a spoon 70mm TB and reset the timing and clean up the IACV. The engine feel more betterand no more up and down problem. Now the idel around 1000-1100 rpm and kick in Vetc at 5000 rpm and cut off 9200rpm. BUt too bad the ecu only give you like a stock car feeling only vtec kick in earlier and cut off later ...

Spelling will set you free. How is a TB gonna change your crossover and cut off? What other mods are done?

You probably had a small vacuum leak and when you installed the Spoon TB you cleared it up, and this would have changed the wandering idle and the change in VTEC.
What else have you done to the motor?
I also have a Spoon TB but it's one of the last things I did to the car. I know I only got a couple of HP (if that) out of it, but despite the evident lack of logic it seems to have improved throttle response and top speed.

does not give you the 15 hp like some companies claim....
george is right...it does give a much better throttle response

Then I think Geaorge was right saying that you had a leak at the TB and when replacing the TB it stopped the leak and stopped the surging.

sorry make a mistake is higger =p
and now the ecu may be remember the mod of the TB, now feel a little bit better. And I also unplug some emission hose, the car now feel free a lot.

Every time he posts, there's something else added to make it likely that he eliminated a vacuum leak with everything he's doing.
Probably a fun little car now.
