zc ecu how to tell...
all right i just got home from a crappy 13 hour drive but i have my zc motor tranny and ecu but how the hell can i tell if the ecu is at or mt the #s on the ecu reads 37820-pr5-j50 and it has a big abx on it too...
Ive never heard of a PR5
PR3 : 89-91 JDM B16A EF8/9
PR4 : 90-91 Integra LS/GS
Im thinking maybe 90-93 JDM ZC Teg ECU?
You can tell if its auto or manual if it throws a code 20 its a manual...

what would happen if it`s an AT ecu in a MT will it just throw a code 19 will it afect the car in any way.the guy i got the motor from only had a pm6 that was kinda beat up or this pr5 they don`t say if their at or mt like on a integ will.
pr5 = JDM 90-1 integra ZXi ecu (sohc ZC)....similiar to PR4 as far as the PCB board, will work with some PR4 programs (when chipped)
PM6 (90-1 US specs) can be easily chipped to PM7 specs...
but if you want to run something good on a ZC go with 88-9 PG7 ecu..
also just to let you know, the ecu is most likly auto (37820-PR5-J5X)
J=JDM market ecu
5=auto
the last number can mean auto as well (usually when its with a 9 or 5 in the sticker)
