CRX Dashboard into Civic. What do you do about the A/C Controls?

CRX Dashboard into Civic. What do you do about the A/C Controls?
I know only 3 of the main bolts line up. I'm fine with that.
Something I was thinking about today are the HVAC controls.
Can you use the stock Civic components in the CRX dashboard? Just pull it slightly til it sits at the proper angle?
Or am I going to have to convert to CRX controls?
I've searched several threads and don't see this issue directly addressed.
