There is what looks to be a sensor mounted to the back of the butterfly valve box..... Will this throw a light???? What is this thing????? And how many lines need to be capped total in the installl

b = where this sensor mounts thats attached to the box...

i took everything out except for that sensor. its just hanging in the engine bay. thats what AEM says to do

 

i took EVERYTHING out, including the lil sensor box. on my intake it only had one outlet for the vacuum line, but you have 2 lines when you take out that sensor box..
i just used a screw to plug the line.

no lights thrown. just a louder car

 

yea with aem cai.. i took out every plastic hose from stock airbox.. as for that lil eleectical plug it just sitting there.. i found a nice like clip to hold it.. its not plug into anythign tho i.. its just there..

 

Also on another note, thanks for your help guys!!! I have the first arm from a CAI ...can this arm of the intake be used for SR or is the SR slightly differnt to fit the filter??? It seems it would be a close tight fit behnid the battery...Also....I only have one spot on the pipe for a line to be run, not two.........

maybe i broke something without knowing it, but on my 95 LX i took out all the old plastic pieces and i have no idea what plug you are talking about....my car works though....

 

if the filter fits on the arm and it fits behind the battery yea you can use it for a sr.. as for how many lines go into your intake.. mine only has one vacume line.. running from the top of the valve cover to the intake..
