exhaust is popping allot.wtf????

i have an eg hatch with a freshley rebuilt ls swap. i have intake header and cams with a 2 1/2 inch exhaust. should there be allot of popping going on in the exhaust?

how old is the exhaust?

it could be that the packing is starting to come out/deteriorate

the exhaust is old and cheap

it could be air pushing out

is it happening when you shift only? or when you let go of the gas then give it gas again

Was it tuned properly with the cams? Running rich can cause popping in the exhaust system.

yea wat ^^ he said...could be runnin real rich... excess fuel could cause it too...u have fuel pump..injectors.. all that good stuff???my boys 92 LS pops a lot too.. he just runs real rich...no big deal...

i run high octane gas in it. i have a 255 lph pump in it and injectors, so i guess its just the fuel thanks guys
