a few questions about powdercoating
first off how thick is powdercoating?
-also i have a set of rims and the lips have chips of paint missing all the way to the metal, i dont know how this happened. but is there a way to just powdercoat just the lip of a rim and make it match the rest of the rim.
-also what is the best way for stripping the powdercoat off the rim myself. i do not have a sandblaster.
they are aluminum rims.
-also where the paint chips came off, it doesnt seem to be smooth. i though under the powdercoating it needs to be smooth to give a good smooth finish look.
thanx
