Default Question on OMP rear upper strut brace: Please look!!!

I have a 91-DX Hatch, and found a rear upper strut brace on e-bay, well the pic doesn't look anything like what you would expect, so I contacted the seller in England and he said it is correct and said something about the brace mounting inside the rubber boots??? I even contacted a USA dealer and he sent me the link to the OMP web-catalog and the pic is the same, Am I missing something completely, or is the European version of car called a 1.6 16V a different model than my civic hatch is.

Maybe it attaches to the top to the shocks, vertically? or it may be missing the end brackets.

The rear upper brace mounts in the boot onto the upper strut tops.

Please explain, inside the boot, does it fit over the threads of the strut itself or what.

I can't find a pic anywhere, also I checked and it doesn't come with end brackets.

Only picture I have...sorry. It's on a CRX too.

Yes, it mounts to the top of the shock, over the threads. I think it's a bit iffy way to mount it... but it seems to work really well. Just use the proper washers. You don't want to damage the threads.

It's a good un. Well worth the money. Feels way more lively now.

Interesting, Very interesting, It braces the actual strut assembly and not the sheet metal that the strut bolts to. Now I wonder if would also fit over the Tokiko adjustable struts, i would hope if it fit over factory sturt ends then aftermarket would be ok.

Thanks a bunch for clearing that up.

Did it come with the special washers and stuff to not damage the threads???

I got mine used, and it didn't. I got mine at a local car parts store.
Home depot or NAPA should have them too.
