2004 Accord Headlight changing
I bought a set of Sylvania Silverstars for my 04 Accord V6. Is there any easy way to remoove a headlight from this thing? I tried going in in front of the wheel as per the manual. There's no way to get any leverage to turn the light and pop it out. I'm ready to give up, but there should be SOME way to remove a bulb easily in case one burns out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
With Honda's, they do not rotate the bulbs to mount them. They are placed in position and utilize a locking ring which holds the bulb in place. You can recognize it by the three raised areas ment as finger grips, They rotate 1/4 turn counter-clockwise to release.

remove the battery, then plug the harness out BEFORE you turn the light bulb to pull it out. expletive the manual, thats most difficult thing way to do it.
I did what P_Adams had said, if you twist the bulb hard enough from inside the engine bay it will come out no problem. If the key is not in the ignition, there is no electrical charge and you don't have to worry about shocking yourself. However, thats not saying that I wouldn't get a good grounding.
REally, i think you are talking about the OLDER accords where they have the ring around the bulb. the NEW accords 2003 and up, you have to twist the bulb itself. But you have to unplug before you twist or it wont rotate.
