Could someone please confirm when NepTune was first released, even as a beta? i am under the assumption that a 'beta' was released mid-late summer of '04, and finalized by the beginning of fall '04??
If by released you mean released to other tuners, Sept 2004. Or if by released you mean being used to tune cars, 2002.

man, i don't even know where to begin...the list is long. Your best bet would be to search, specifically older posts regarding this sytem by full-race geoff and boosted hybrid where they explain the hot-points of this system.

at 309 lbs u ran a 6:36 mile?</TD></TR></TABLE>
that's when i got timed for 1 mile.......i was running, at that time, 3 miles in under 25 minutes consistently...at that weight. Shin splints have taken their toll, but i could still do it for sure...i'd just be in a little pain.
i've taken a liking to sprinting now as opposed to distance. 300+lbs running far is just not what God intended

Can someone make it clear and in detail what features neptune can provide compared to others? I have tried searching and did not find anything SPECIFIC. It would be great to hear it from a TUNER because i have spoken to countless number of owners of neptune tuned vehicles and they really dont know anything about it except the fact that they must bring it back to get it RETUNED by paying more money. I would like to have my car tuned with Neptune if someone tells me why its better in DETAIL.
it seems like it can be a very difficult job to explain. Even when i talk to AEM or Hondata, they usually give me straight forward answers and even "I'm not sure" sometimes. Fair enough.
That link above has the feature list, that's it. That's what it does. It doesn't do magic. The reason it's so great, is that it actually does all that and it works very good. The fact that it is considerably cheaper than hondata and has quite a bit more features is why people like it. If you have any specific questions, i'd be happy to answer them, but for the most part, it's all in the link above.

Sorry the feature list didnt answr my question. I doubt i'll get a real answer. Will this great software become available for me to tune with myself? If it will never be available in that way. can you tell me why not? I would love to tune my car myself with great software for $250.
It will be, it's all in the works. It will be similar to the hondata s300, in that you will just plug in the usb cable and go. No chips or romulators or anything. That version will cost a bit more because of the extra hardware involved. Not sure on the exact price, but the s300 is $599 and it will be considerably less than that.
Any close guess of how long? Is it like around the corner or like several years from now? I want to buy something soon. I would hate to buy something more then one time. Im sure everyone would.
damm tony only if you were closer for Neptune. Too bad the shop I go cant be a dealer for it, but then again its mostly "political" and I'll leave it at that.
It's not political, if a shop didn't get it they either didn't meet the criteria or they're too close to an existing NepTune tuner. Although I've tried explaining this to a few specific shops that took offense, they still think it's something personal. I don't play games like that.
The new system is coming along well. I will be releasing information soon.
