Default Self Test

Dies anyone happen to know a way to perform a self test on the ECM? I have done it in the past but I cannot seem to find a link to the codes. If anyone has them I would really appreciate it. I have a 1994 Honda Accord LX. Thanks for your time guys.

You need a Helms repair manual. Just a suggestion, you can learn a lot about your car if you plan to keep it for a while.

Underneath the glove box there are two connectors. A 3 pin and a 2 pin. Unhook the 2 pin and jump it (a wire from one pin to the next) Then turn the ignition on engine off. Count the number of blinks. This works for the ABS, SRS and MIL (check engine). There will be some long blinks and short blinks. Long blinks are 10 and short blinks are 1.
If you get 5 lond and 2 short it is a 5-2 code.

As far as the codes if you let me know what it is I can look or buy a haynes manual or helms or there is another one but I can't think of it.
