NSX: track tire transport?
How do you fit a set of wheels/tires in the NSX? I've heard it done before and have tried it myself. I've got an ivory interior and the tires just seem to smudge everything up. Not to mention that I can only get three to fit. Guess I could put a tarp down on the passenger seat.
FYI - I'm using the stock 15/16 combo.

No problem!
1. Put the tires in plastic bags. Not just garbage bags - they're not big enough - but the lawn and leaf bags. They'll fit. No smudges.
2. Put a rear tire in the trunk, face down. The rest of the trunk is for your track stuff and/or overnight bag.
3. Slide the passenger seat all the way forward. Put a front tire behind the passenger seat. You can hold it up slightly while sliding the seat back (it won't move much, but you may as well gain that little bit of room).
4. Put little stuff on the floor of the passenger seat. (I put my jack there.)
5. Put the remaining two tires on the passenger seat, standing up, parallel to the sides of the car.
You will find that there are little nooks and crannies where you can put small stuff as well as a small bag and your helmet bag - in the trunk next to the tire, in the middle of the tire, on top of the tires on the seat, on top of the tire behind the seat, behind the driver seat, etc.
You will also find that you lose visibility from your right-side rearview mirror entirely.
