11.04 @ 132 (analyze)
went to the track this weekend... track really sucked, everyone seemed to have traction issues.. on low boost i managed to pull a 11.5 @ 121 and best i can get on high boost was 12.7's @ 124.. well anyhow, after a couple of ignition issues, i decided to try high boost again... anyhow, setup is as follows.. full race kit gt35r c16 23 psi, aem ems tuned by jack @ p1.. motor has stock sleves, stock fuel lines, stock axles, and stock tranny.. (yea open diff) i was hoping for 10s, and my traps show that its possible, but i didnt have enough passes to reach my goal.. 4th gear had massive spark knock, i wanted to clse the gap more, but ran out of time.. anyways analize my slip, and give me a few opinions imputs..

Don't flame the noob, I have been drag racing a long time lol, just recently got into honda's though.
I assume you have a EBC, if so, can you launch at low boost and leave harder cutting your 60' time down? You have aplenty of mph, I have a friend with a AWD DSM turning the same mph and running 10.00's with a 1.40 60ft time and 6.30 1/8 time. I think that will be where you get your biggest gain. I can't believe you are getting it down the track with that much power and an open diff though, that impresses the hell out of me. You just need to find a tiny bit more traction. A mid 1.60 would drop you into the 10.80's but you might lose 1 or 2 mph. Congrats though for taking it that far on stock sleeves and axles. Very inpressive.

dude thats sick as ****, what size slicks where u on? looks like 24.5?
how much power are u making,
i have the almost same setup as you i dont know ifs gonna run yet though
its a lsvtec with crower rods/wiesco pistons, stock ls tranny and a sfp mani with a 60-1 i am really excited to get it back on the road, and to see #'s like this is awsome..
o yea and the sig and the slip dont match up u might want to fix that

yea i am using aem ems to control my boost, i am leaving the line @ 16 psi... anti lag is setup, but doesnt seem to be that good.. i been drag racing for a long time as well, just not turbo cars that leave the line ith 500whp.. is kinda a different feeling.. like i said im still learning the feel of the car, and yes i will go back with the same setup, and shoot for mid to high 10s. but we are going to do gear dependant boost, so we will see hopefully i can lower my 1/8 times, and that ould yield to a better 1/4 overall... bore size is 20 over...stock sleves... 82 ar gt35r.

Ok, I understand the 500fwhp thing man, I can't leave with 300 and DR's (friends car). I am used to rwd and AWD. If you can squeeze just a little more out of that thing in the 1/8 though with the same setup, you will be well into where you want to be. And with the MPH, you are knocking on literbike territory. That's what it wicked. Not many cars aside from Supra's can claim to pull 1000cc bikes.
yea, well thats whta im trying to get to, i mainly race the car on the highway, not many times i get to make it to the drag strip.. also my 2nd gear burn out is getting a little better, so i need to work on that.. but anyhow, just wanted to see what most of you pro fwd ppl in pro street class..
it looks like your 1/8 mile et is slow for the mph. my 10.92 pass was 1o5 on the 1/8th also but 7.1 et. i would try working on that. my 60ft was only a 1.78 also, so you should have no problem breaking the 10s.
ha yea... i gotta go see jack asap.. and also yea i know my 1/8 time kinda slacky.. no tracton like i said if u run 11s in rock you are capable of 10s no doubt.. tha is the shitiest prep track ever..

kind of weird, your 60ft isnt too bad, almost like it hooks pretty good off the line then has problems in second. i would try the lower boost stuff in 1st through 3rd.

2nd and 3rd gear is where its at for you. Im sure, even with those nice sized rubbers, you are blowing them off. More grip here, youll see more.
I think the next time you goto the track you will do better times if you lower to 18-20psi tops

try to get ur 1/8th down to atleast a 7.2xx and youll be there.
On our H22 hatch we only have a 1 stage manual boost controller so first gear sees full boost also.
next time out youll do it

Woah, that timeslip is almost damn identical to 3 of them that I cut in a row (at another of the shittiest tracks on earth) a while back... same 60', same 1/8th, same trap, but they were all 10.9s
That's definitely a 10-second car.

oh and i forgot to mention.. that that run was with me and my friend in the car.. i had him ride with me because it seemed like my burn out was alot better with even weight across..

Nice times, especially with a passenger
10s are a better launch away
