Tranny leaking fluid from seals

Default Tranny leaking fluid from seals

i just put in a dx tranny for my d16z6. when i drained it, i dont think it was completely drained and when i poured in more fluid i think i poured in too much i used 2qts of honda MTF. its now leaking from the main seal...now is my problem the seals?? or is it because i poured in too much fluid?

my guess is too much fluid cuz most honda b or d series trand take 2.2 qts

i overfilled a few n it never happened, but i guess that could be the prob. Maybe a little of both, old seals, and too much pressure from overfilling the fluid. BTW use synchro mesh, its the ****

Completely drain it and refill then see what happens.
