walking thru my neighborhood last week and stumbled over a red 97 Hatch stitting in the back yard with weeds growing on it, with some front end damage, kinda minor if u ask me, windshield, fenders, core support, welp almost the whole front end, so i knock on the door an this asian guy comes to the door and i ask um about the car long story short he said he wrecked it 2 years ago an the county has been on him about it, and i said are u looking to get rid of it?, he was like if u want it u can have it i was like hell yea, so now i got the car at my work an i plan on taking it apart sunday, what do u think about Ls-vtec turbo? on Hondata or uber-data? kinda wana go turbo but dont know what setup i wana run.lmk what u think?

 

so the Hatch was free.....why was the country "getting on to this guy" is it cause he's Asian, just like a million other people in the US. There has to be a reason

i plan on ls-vtec turbo with gsr pistons, but im going to fix the front end and get the body str8, beat around the single cam till i get the motor built.

 

we are all exicted that you got a new ride. post us some pic please. im curious how bad was the condition of the car. but congrats on the new car!!!

if your goin lsvtec turbo dont use gsr pistons..use lower compression other than that i would have to agree w Fodoe2coupe

 

im going to get some pix of the hatch..its pretty bad..but fixable. , so do some eagle h-beams and some j.e arias pistons like 9.5:1?

that would b sweet...especially w the 99-00 front end

 

i went and bought a 99 si front i got the car at my shop..went and picked up a free ls block.. a friend of mine selling a B16 head..prolly gonna go with eagle rods an some arias 9:1's..it wil come to gether soon enough..pix are comming soon before an after..my it interesting.

Thats Crazy, i just got a flooded 97 EK HB, but I paided $700.00 and had 87,000miles on it. It took me 4 days of cleaning and pulling everything out of it.
