I have purchased a Y1 tranny but its non-lsd. Which LSD should I grab? Id really like to grab an OEM one. Would it take the same LSD as a del sol or civic b16 tranny? I built an LSVTEC that should be around 195 whp and I think the LSD may be a good investment since the motor is going in my CRX.

wrong phatomslip is a poorly made locker not a true LSD.

quafie is the hands down best made and best you can buy the OEM ones are nice but if shelling out the dough no reason to half *** it. OBX makes a nice knock off of quafie mixed reviews about it.

 

I would look for a tranny that is grinding and use the LSD out of that. That is what I did.

Quaife if you have the money

Quaife &gt; most others

 

Its cheaper to buy a good y1 tranny with LSD than a quaiife. And **** phantom Grip. So I have found that an LSD for an LS tranny fits into the Y1. So probably an OBX will suit just fine. Hopefully a whole bunch of people will complain that OBX sucks now.
