I have a ls swap in my car now & plan to do ls/vtec but I I'm having problems with getting my car started at this time. I took it to a shop & they told me it was starter. I then got a new starter & had the same issue. To make sure it wasn't a bad starter I but it on my friends car & it starter right up. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be? The shop I took it to said they checked the signal wiring & ground so that should be good.

I was also thinking that it may be the wiring harness. I have a 96 gsr wiring harness. Would a 96 gsr wiring harness work with a LS in a 96 EK? I was thinking all the wiring should work except for the vtec wiring & I could use it late when I go ls/vtec.
