Default ? about transmision

I am in Afghanistan so I dont have a lot of time to look if you guys can help me out. I have a 93 Hatch SI. I think I have a hydro transmision in my car. Is that right? I am about to buy a JDM b16a Sir II motor which has a hydro tranny and I wanna make sure I dont need to get the cable to hydro conversion kit. Someone help please.

Yeah, it's a hydro trans, no conversion required.

How's the weather over there? Is it a shitty as it is here?
