All motor cam for d16a6
dont know if they still make it but i was running a crane radical street/strip cam, with zc ebay pistons, y8 manifold, max-bore throttlebody, it requies major tuning, and you must have 93 octane and at least 11:1 compression, i dont know how much power i was making but i could spank many all-motor b-series all day long, if you are going this setup, get balance everything in your motor, and makes power up to 8k, fun as **** , but idle was kinda bad..
good luck, not longer have this setup went to darkside...turbo!!!!!
but i wish i had kept this and ran itbs it would have screamed!!!!

That would be the 251-0016 cam.......what I'm running now on stock compression D15B7.......so you think you had idle issues!!!!!!!!!
I suggest the Crane 251-0012, nice idle, nice power..........
Just a D15B7.......on a Mustang Dyno......

Thats about 145 chp from a 102 hp motor in stock form. The P08 mapping above 6800 rpm stock redline were way off, hence the drop in power.
BTW, that combo got 53 mpg with a DX tranny holding 2800-3200 rpms

MistaBone those are some good numbers man, I wish i had dynoed my setup when i had it, and wish i never got rid of it!!!!
but at the time there was not as many people playing with high comp, non-vtec motors..
I don't want to step on any ones toes, but the exospeed cams might be cheap, and make some good power, i bet even the delta 272 makes power, but i will promise you this it was a night and day difference with that crane cam..
it is a no bullshit cam.. if you spend the time to compare it to the others..you will see what i mean
get a really good wideband sensor spend time to tune, and i do not see why some one could not make 150 hp to the wheels.. but i will say this get ITBS and bigger injectors, i was running 270cc and would run lean at 8k..310cc or maybe 370cc with ITBs would be a kick *** setup..
one thing about staying d-series is cheap parts, and less weight..
