Aftermarket Cams = Prepared Class?
It has been a couple of years since I was involved with the SCCA and SoloII - I have been doing track days the last few years but I have the itch to get competitive again and the SCCA Time Trials looks to be what I am looking for.
I have an ITR which I have modified since my STX days - including aftermarket cams and removed interior pieces. Will this put me right up into the prepared classes? I have been looking over the rulebook but it is a little difficult to follow at times.

Street Mod allows cams and pretty much any other engine stuff you could want. They only allow removing the rear seat and changing the front seats. Carpet, headliner, side panels, and assorted other stuff has to stay in place. If you have removed them, then yes, Prepared is the lowest class possible.

Thanks - I'll dig into the SM rules. I have done exactly as you described - removed rear seats and changed front seats only.
