Does acura sell amber bulbs or amber condoms? I can find two of them, are there more of them back there?

can i add the filter or should i paint the bulbs??? what are my choices? i cannot use the ITR console because it has that c/f look and if i found one it would probaly not be legit with all the stuff that has been going on. anyone have any suggestions?

 

yes i can give you part numbers and everything....i spent the last 4 months trying to get amber lights in my del sol vtec and just last night installed it!! FRIGGING AWESOME! i had to get amber condoms off of a civic si.....but i know exactly how to do this on every car....just email me what car and what part of the car you want amber lighting on and ill take care of you.....Ian_McCormick@Intuit.com

FV327 from Loreal Paris... When a painted bulb lights up its almost the same shade of amber...just a hair darker.

to be totally honest, i dont think theres a way you can do this on an integra, theres a blue coating on the back of the buttons that makes it come out that pure white color...well it least its that way on my 99...it might be different on 94-97 tegs...i took apart my climate control many many times...the guage cluster is another story, you can just change the bulbs out...

 

What do you mean you just change the bulbs on the Cluster?
The bulbs behind the cluster are also CLEAR, that means there's a filter that creates the Amber color.
Correct me if I am wrong.

the bulbs on the cluster use the blue rubber nipple...so you can just pull them out and throw in an amber bulb...ive done it before, im not lying...i swear

 

on ITR cluster, the Bulbs are clear...

i assume that the guy asking the question doesnt own a type-r, or else he wouldnt be asking how to convert his lighting to amber...

 

The 97-98 console is plain black, though it would probably be expensive from the dealer (Mike K?). You might be able to find someone who is parting out a totaled car or building a track car too. Just a suggestion.

 

Why don't you get a black center console and get a REAL cf kit. Looks way better than the fake stuff.
