i know its not a honda, but we are all fans fo this car and i was just wondering how it did this past weekend at the biggest mitsubishi gathering of the year.
it rained off and on all day i believe john went 8.59 @172 and pulled him self out of the competition to let the sportsman guys battle it out

His car is so amazing to watch.
I'd keep an eye on the DSMs in turbo 4 like Mike Reichen, Sean Ivey and Dan Hammans just to name a few.

Sheps car was on tym switzers dyno not long ago. Unfortuntly everyone but tym and john were in there dyno room and no numbers were ever anounced.
If you go to switzers website u can see on his mainpage johns car being strapped down.. Switzer Performance Innovation
Rumor was he was gonna dyno Saterday at Buschurs shop but i dont think he did.
I was talking to someone over the weekend at Norwalk who works at Extreme and they said that seans car is making 1100whp on there dyno "shrugs"

Word was that the guys at bushur were being asses, and not putting in correction factors in the dyno, so everyones numbers were coming out rediculously low. remember one guy in specific said he just pulled 507 a week ago and only did like 390s on bushurs dyno. They were just trying to get people on and off so they could make more money

Well AL from dynoflash only made 580whp on his car that before made something like 730whp~ ... But my friend shane dynoed his car friday and made 301whp on mustang dyno witch isnt bad for his mods i suppose, he going to take it to a local dyno here and dyno to see what gains he made on dynojet..
So, For the record, Who stayed at the Best Western????

I have a video a friend sent me of Shep running 8.43 @ 170mph... i think this is a new record for him.. but i could be wrong.. looks like Shep did something with the suspension cause the car does not squad like before.. and it actually bogged off the line.. that's why his mph dropped...
Congrats to him.. that car is one bad *** beast...
by the way if anyone wants to host the video.. i'll be glad to email it to ya..

8.596@172.46 was the ET. He pedaled it four times in first gear to a 1.58 60'. Nothing spectacular, but the rest of the run was.
He did dyno the car earlier this year, but was there to get the tune up dialed in a little better. Not to try to make a big HP number, which it didn't in comparison to what the car is making now.
Buschur just received a new Mustang AWD dyno a week or so ago. Everything I've heard is that the mustang numbers inherently read lower than Dynojet numbers without being fudged with. If this makes them "asses" for not trying to fudge the Mustang numbers then I don't know what to tell you. Everyone was given two pulls with no tuning in between runs, not sure how everyone was rushed. Had they let everyone sit on the dyno and tune we'd still be there watching cars dyno because there was a long freaking list of cars to dyno.

I have a couple more of Shep's run from other people that I will upload later on.

load dynos are only supposed to read around 5% less than a standard dyno, the asses part is becasue it was pretty much get on get off so we can make as much money as possible today. You are supposed to put in like the weight of the car and a nbunch of little stuff like that. Personally if i paid to do a couple dyno pulls (Not for tuning) then you are obviously doing it for the papers or bragging rights, so i'd be wanting the correction factors put in

Buschur just just just got the dyno in the other day. It is a much better than dyno than a dynojet...
THATS WHY WE ARE GETTING ONE SOON!!!!!
Shep is the man though. He still has a lot left in the car. He is still running stock and has the dash still.. I think it can go 7's by the end of this year if he car remove the extra weight. I would assume he is pushing around 1300-1400 whp..
My DSM ran 11's and I though that was fast!!!
8.4 is amazing!

Thanks guys, I was afraid to run it much at the shootout and take a chance of wrecking it. It is scary enough on a good track and the rain would just not stay away for very long.
This year was meant to just test and try things I have always wanted to. Some things worked great and others like the clutch switch to launch idea just did not no matter how many different ways I tried to adjust and configure it.
The 8.4 pass posted above was still on the clutch switch and if you watch it closely the car moves at least a foot before it takes off which kills et. Now I am learning a new way to drive with the button on the wheel to control antilag and the line lock but it is working much better.
