Default 92-95 dash- another question

Are all the dashes the same? Can I swap an SI dash into my 4 door?

Want to convert interior to all black, but since no 4 door came with black I have use what I can from OEM and do the rest myself.

Thanks.

I've thought long and hard about doing this swap too. After looking around for months at dashes, I'm thinking it would be much better to strip out your interior paint/refinish it yourself, instead of buying somebody else's POS that's possibly cracked/ripped/torn or otherwise mangled from years of abuse, removals, and installations. And I do not think the dashes will fit anyway without modification.

While you're at it, stop by a fabric shop and see if you can pick up some leather on the cheap and re-wrap your seats.

Damn, Honda just didnt make it easy on us EG8 owners did they?

I was actually thinking of getting a new dash from honda if it would fit(found em for 300.00+shipping), but if it wont directly bolt in it would be pointless.

if you do the labor of taking out the dash and dissasembling it, you should be able to take the pieces to a local restoration shop, or a specialized interior shop, or hell maybe even a place that does custom work, and they should be able to get it looking like brand new for about 100 bucks.

All the little plastic bits are going to be a PITA, unless all of them have a black counterpart.

If the vinal is just glued and stapled, I may just attempt to do this myself, If I **** up I can just take it to a shop to have done.
